We suspect that wherever you are in the world, in this time of the Coronavirus, we are very much alike: concerned about the health of our loved ones, the wealth that sustains our families and friendships, and the prospects for where we work and the team around us.
DAIMANI’s industry in particular has been affected by this since the beginning of the year. Many events are being cancelled or postponed, and things are changing from hour to hour and day to day. As Edward R Murrow said, ‘Anyone who isn’t confused doesn’t really understand the situation.’ If you are feeling uncertain in these times, the DAIMANI team and I want to take this opportunity to assure you on a couple of points:
Postponed and cancelled events
If you have purchased official VIP Hospitality on the DAIMANI platform then you have a binding agreement in law with the rightsholder or authorised reseller of that event. We will make sure that:
- When an event is cancelled, we will work with the official provider to issue you a refund;
- And when a postponed event is rescheduled for a later date, we will duly inform you of the different options available.
We monitor the news closely to make sure the DAIMANI website is constantly updated with the latest available official information so you have a true representation of what is happening in the Live Event industry. Whatever happens, the DAIMANI team is here to assist you as best we can: please remember we work for you and that we can be your best resource in these circumstances.
The magic of Live Events
We will no doubt endure hard months ahead, both as individuals and as humankind. But everybody at DAIMANI remains passionate believers in how Live Events lift us as individuals, and bring us together as a community.
Wherever we are in the world, the more of us required to self-isolate the more we feel together. All of us are being asked to give up day-to-day social connections for a once-in-a-lifetime social purpose. That is a tough ask in any age but we are tenacious, adaptive and resourceful by design. What is waiting for all of us on the other side of this Coronavirus is a big ‘re-set’. We know all of us will need the human uplift that comes from a unique Live Event experience and those emotions that give us the tools to work our way forward. And if the next few weeks and months are anything like the predictions, we will be needing that lift, that yearning for a common cause, more than ever before.
