DAIMANI moves to password-less solution to improve security and customer journey

Our IT colleagues were working furiously over this past weekend to introduce a new feature to support DAIMANI’s commitment to deliver our promised vision of a ‘friction-free’ and secure customer buying-experience.

DAIMANI represents many firsts in the world of official VIP Hospitality selling platforms and we are assured we are the first to offer a QR code as a replacement for the conventional password thanks to a collaboration with the industry-leading password-less solutions company, OwnID.

OwnID is part of SAP, DAIMANI’s technology partner.

The history of the QR code, and how it derives from a Japanese invention in 1994 that was itself inspired by the game of Go or 围棋 in Chinese

The solution is already available on the global www.DAIMANI.com website: new customers and event partners will be able to register or log in without a password.

Existing customers and event partners can select ‘Skip the Password’ option when they next want to login; the QR code will replace their password and become their default way of accessing their DAIMANI account.

To ensure security and peace of mind, the QR codes are dynamic, meaning that no customer will log in with the same QR code.

In addition to the main website, the QR code password option will be introduced progressively to the www.DAIMANI.com  sites serving the specific data requirements of the US, Australia, Russia and the People’s Republic of China.

An OwnID corporate video explaining how a QR code login can do away with the fiddly and frustrating business of maintaining multiple accounts, and having to remember and update multiple passwords … all of which are subject to hacking.
